Edición especial con dos temas extra: una versión acústica de “La Ley De Las Hadas” y una versión de ÑU, “El Flautista”, previamente incluida en el recopilatorio tributo a ÑU “Tributo A ÑU".

Esta banda comenzó llamándose Saurom Lamderth, y bajo este nombre publicó cuatro demos y tres discos de estudio (uno de ellos doble). A partir de 2006 se acortaron el nombre a "Saurom", bajo el cual han editado dos discos y un EP hasta la fecha.

Este es, creo, el disco de ÑU que cuenta con más ediciones. Originalmente vio la luz en 1990 como "Dos Años De Destierro". Una reedición remasterizada y bajo el nombre "La Espada" salió unos años después. Según comentan en este foro, a mediados de los 90, Carlos Molina (líder de ÑU) se compró una espada de segunda mano a través de eGay, y se obsesionó tanto con la misma que decidió remasterizar y reeditar Dos Años De Destierro bajo el nombre de "La Espada"... para rematar, el tour del '98 se llamó "La Espada Tour 98". En el foro al que hago referencia también se puede ver una foto de Molina con su fantástico arma de combate.

Frikadas aparte, la verdad es que la edición bajo el nombre "La Espada" suena mucho mejor que la original. He subido las dos por si a alguien le interesa.

This is, I think, the ÑU album that has been reissued the most. It originally saw the light of day in 1990 as "Dos Años De Destierro" (no literal translation, but it would be something like "Two Years Of Exile" - 'forced exile' would be more accurate, since exile in spanish is exilio). The album was remastered and reissued a few years later as "La Espada" ("The Sword"). According to this forum, Carlos Molina (ÑU's leader) bought a second hand sword through eGay in the mid 90's, and became so obsessed with it that he decided to remaster and re-release "Dos Años De Destierro" as "La Espada".... to crown it all, the '98 tour was called "La Espada Tour 98". There is a picture of Carlos with his fantastic combat weapon in the forum I mentioned before.

Weirdness aside, the truth is that the edition under the name of "La Espada" sound so much better than the original. I've uploaded both, just in case someone's interested.

Cuatro Gatos - Esférica

Banda formada por tres ex-miembros de ÑU: Joaquín Arellano “El Niño” (batería, también ex-Saratoga y ex-Muro), Juan Miguel Rodríguez (teclados) y Pedro Vela (guitarra). El resto de la formación la completan Covadonga Martínez (alias “Covi”, voz) y Javier Canseco (bajo), aunque éste último dejó la formación recientemente. Al momento de redactar este texto, el grupo está buscando otro bajista. Para el primer disco, contaron con Iván Urbistondo (ex-Beethoven R., actualmente fuera del grupo) en las voces. Para éste, el segundo, Alex Fracchia se encargó de las mismas. Tras su salida, es temporalmente sustituido por Juan Félix Bejarano “El Jota”, que deja la banda y su puesto es ocupado por Covadonga Martínez, cantante en el tercer disco del grupo.

Incluye una versión en castellano de "Heat Of The Moment" (retitulada "Es Tu Momento") de Asia como bonus track.

Band formed by three ex-members of ÑU: Joaquín Arellano “El Niño” (drums, also ex-Saratoga and ex-Muro, two well known hard rock bands from Spain), Juan Miguel Rodríguez (keyboards) and Pedro Vela (guitar). The rest of the line up is completed by Covadonga Martínez (aka “Covi”, vocals) and Javier Canseco (bass), albeit the latter has just left the group. At the time of writing this, the band is looking for a new bass player. Iván Urbistondo (ex-Beethoven R., currently out of the group) was the singer in the first record, while Alex Fracchia sung in this second effort. After he left, he was temporarily replaced by Juan Félix Bejarano “El Jota”, who left too, and was replaced by Covadonga Martínez, the singer in the band's third album.
